Nikolai V. Platonov
General Director

Born February 1, 1976 in Moscow.
In 1998 graduated from the Law School of the State Academy named after Maimonides, international private law specialist.

Over 11 years in the system of external economic relations, including Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade where Nikolai Platonov was responsible for legal support of negotiations regarding Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and was in charge of negotiations regarding inter-governmental agreements on promotion and mutual protection of investments. Has diplomatic work experience: in the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the United States of America and Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.

Prior to election to the office of CPC General Director in November 2010, Nikolai Platonov worked in the position of Deputy Director, Department for External Economic Relations, OAO AK Transneft, with responsibility for the CPC Project and other international projects.

Speaks English and Spanish.
Was awarded Certificate of Honor of the Government of the Russian Federation
Married, has a son.

 

Dennis J. Fahy
First Deputy General Director for Operations


Dennis J. Fahy was born in St. Louis, Missouri (USA) in 1959. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1981 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and he received his MBA at the University of New Orleans in 1991.

Mr. Fahy has more than 25 years’ experience with direct responsibility over all aspects of pipeline management in various Chevron locations throughout the world, including North America, Kazakhstan and West Africa.

From 1981 to 1988 Dennis J. Fahy held a number of assignments with Chevron in North America and rose from the position of Pipeline Engineer to the position of Joint Venture Representative. Between 1988 and 1995 Mr. Fahy served as Division Engineer, Business Development Coordinator at Chevron Pipe Line in New Orleans, Louisiana; between 1995 and 2001 he held the position of Manager of Business Development and then General Manager for Planning, Commercial and International Pipeline Projects at Chevron Pipe Line in Houston, Texas.

From 2001 to 2003 Dennis J. Fahy served as Chevron International Country Manager in Kazakhstan and was responsible for all operations in this region. In 2003, he was appointed Managing Director of Chevron's West African Gas Pipeline Company and held this position until April 2006, when he became the First Deputy General Director for both CPC-R and CPC-K.

Mr. Fahy is a member of a number of Kazakh and West African business associations. He is married and has three children.
