Social Responsibility In Effect: a New Modern Kindergarten Has Been Commissioned in Akkistau, Atyrau Oblast

A new pre-school institution was opened on November 8, 2016 in the village of Akkistau, Isataysky District, Atyrau Oblast. The ceremony was attended by: Gumar Dyusembayev, Deputy Akim, Atyrau Oblast, Kairgeldy Kabyldin, Deputy General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K, and representatives of the District Akimat, Mass Media and village habitants.
The construction of the new kindergarten was financed by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s sponsor funds. The social facility with the area of 2,004.7 m2 is designed for 160 children. It is a two-story building with smooth power and heat supply systems (it has its own transformer substation and boiler plant). The kindergarten is connected to the central water supply and sewage system. Inside the building there are comfortable dormitories; sanitary and hygienic unit; roomy game hall; canteen. There are also multi-purpose rooms for musical and sports classes; rooms for hobby groups; classrooms for nursery teachers; kindergarten own laundry; medical room which fully meets all necessary requirements; catering facilities; storage facilities; cargo elevator.
“Commissioning of such a region-needed facility is a result of the implementation of the Agreement between Atyrau Oblast Akimat and CPC. We would like to thank CPC Management for the charity policy pursued in the locations of its business, the policy aimed at resolution of the region’s issues in the social sphere”, - noted in his speech G. Dyusembayev, Deputy Akim, Atyrau Oblast.
As a reminder, the Agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation which specifies the terms and conditions of an ambitious program of social project implementation and provision of gratuitous charity aid was signed on June 15, 2011. For the purposes of implementation of the aforesaid Agreement the Company developed a Program of social project implementation in Atyrau Oblast financed from the Expansion Project funds.
“Since the first day of its existence CPC has been implementing major social programs aimed at development of health care, education, culture, sports and other spheres. Thus, the total funds allocated under the Expansion Project in Russia exceed 1.5 Billion Rubles, in Kazakhstan – over 3.7 Billion Tenge. In total throughout the years of its charity activities the Consortium has invested in development of the Russian regions more than 2.5 Billion Rubles, Kazakhstani regions – about 3.4 Billion Tenge”.- pointed out K. Kabyldin, Deputy General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K.
The priorities of the CPC Social Project Implementation Program include construction and total renovation of health care and education facilities in the region. The Program also provides for support to the vulnerable social groups: Great Patriotic war veterans, handicapped people and orphans. Gratuitous targeted aid is being provided to those citizens.

Since the effective date of the Agreement, September 2011, CPC-K has gratuitously handed over 4 fully equipped ambulances to Atyrau city emergency station. On the eve of 2012 CPC-K Expansion Team conducted a charity function for the handicapped people of the City Society of handicapped people and Public association of mothers of handicapped people where sponsor aid – 210 targeted certificates for acquisition of vital goods were handed to those invited to the function. During the period of 2012 to 2013 eight schools were fully renovated in the region: 3 in Atyrau, 4 in Makhambetovsky and 1 in Makatsky districts. Upon the Oblast Leadership’s request all renovated facilities were equipped with new school furniture, modern sports gear and office appliances. In addition, in 2014 the following work was launched: reconstruction and total renovation of a maternity hospital which was later re-equipped into a perinatal center, construction of three kindergartens: for 200 children in Zhylyoisky District (commissioned), for 160 children in Atyrau (commissioned) and the same type of facility inh Isataysky District.
