CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC donated a pontoon bridge across the Kigach River in Astrakhan Oblast to the municipal authorities

On December 21, 2016, Nikolai Gorban, CPC General Director, and Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director, donated a pontoon bridge across the Kigach River in the vicinity of Maliy Aral settlement in Astrakhan Oblast to the municipal authorities. The bridge was accepted by Nurgali Baitemirov, Head of Krasnoyarsky District Administration, Astrakhan Oblast. The ceremony was also attended by Sergey Trushkin, Minister of Construction and Roads of Astrakhan Oblast. The donation was a part of the Consortium’s charity program aimed at the development of the social infrastructure in the regions of the CPC presence.
A 180-m bridge consisting of 39 pontoons was built by CPC contractors in 2012 for the purposes of A-PS-4A construction.
From now on the bridge as transferred to the Krasnoyarsky District Administration will be used by the Astrakhan Oblast residents.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km.
