CPC General Director Visited the Consortium’s Facilities under Construction in Astrakhan Oblast

On February 8, 2017 CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban visited two Pump Stations under construction in Astrakhan Oblast. Construction and start-up and commissioning of the facilities - PSA-4A and PSA-5A are part of CPC Project to expand the capacities. The facilities are scheduled to be put into operation during the first six months of 2017.
General Director inspected the main and auxiliary facilities of the stations, checked the availability of necessary operation documentation. Contractors - Velesstroy at PSA-4A and Transneftstroy at PSA-5A are in the process of completing closing the punchlist items.
The process pipelines of the facilities are currently filled in with oil, the work is in progress on comprehensive testing of the equipment.
During his visit to the facilities Nikolay Gorban noted high readiness of both pump stations to operation, comfortable conditions for rotational personnel accommodation and high professional qualification of the PS personnel.  About 40 CPC employees will work on rotational basis at each station. All operations personnel received appropriate theoretical and practical training at the Consortium’s operating facilities.
