CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC Supplemented Motor Fleet of Enotaevsky and Kharabalinsky Districts

The pupils of the general education boarding schools of the Enotaevsky and Kharabalinsky Districts, Astrakhan Region received, as a gift from Caspian Pipeline Consortium, modern school buses “Mercedes-Bens Sprinter Classic 411.
The vehicles delivery ceremony held on 16 March in Astrakhan was attended by CPC-R General Director Nikolay Gorban, Deputy Chairman of the Astrakhan Region Government – Minister for Industry, Transport and Natural Resources Radik Kharisov, Minister for Education and Science Vitaly Gutman and other officials.
Two school buses worth over RUR 5 million were procured under the Consortium Charity Program and intended for transportation of schoolchildren. Each vehicle has 20 passenger seats and is equipped with Glonass system, all seats have safety belts and individual communication line with driver, the passenger compartment has an autonomous heating system and an anti-slip floor. For safe transportation of children, the buses are equipped with a speed limiter of 60 km/hour and a device, preventing movement with the door open.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of the pipeline connecting oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC’s Marine Terminal is equipped with Single Point Moorings that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, including bad weather conditions.
