Nikolay Gorban elected to the Board of Trustees of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas

The Board of Trustees of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas met on 20 April 2017. The event was presided by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Viktor Zubkov who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors, PAO Gazprom.
Nikolay Gorban, General Director of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, was elected to the Board of Trustees at the meeting.
It is to be recalled that CPC-R and the Gubkin University entered into the cooperation agreement in 2015. The agreement has opened up wide field of possibilities for cooperation in different areas: from joint preparation of scientific publications through to advanced training of CPC-R specialists as well as student internship and pre-graduation practice at the CPC facilities.
As the Rector of the Gubkin University Viktor Martynov has noted, CPC is one of the Top 5 sponsors of the University.   In particular, the great academic hall and glazing of the University’s main building are currently being reconstructed at the CPC expense so as to restore their original appearance as per the design made by famous Soviet architect Boris Iofan.
