CPC First Deputy General Director Awarded Medal of the Order of Merit for the Astrakhan Region

On 25 August 2017, the Astrakhan Region Government building hosted a ceremony of awarding CPC First Deputy General Director Dennis Fahy with the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Astrakhan Region. The award was handed over to the Consortium top manager personally by Astrakhan Region Governor Alexander Zhilkin. 
The ceremony was attended by CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban, Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations Mikhail Grishankov, Regional Manager Ivan Sharay.
In the presence of colleagues, the head of the region thanked Dennis Fahy for many years of dedicated work on the development of the Astrakhan Region industrial potential, his professionalism and constructive approach to the solution of the region/Consortium interaction issues, as well as for a huge contribution to safe and emergency-free operation of the CPC facilities within the region.
Dennis Fahy has more than 30 years of working experience in Chevron International, including pipeline facilities management in different world regions: North America, Russia, Kazakhstan and West Africa. He has been with CPC since 2006.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the pipeline connecting oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker loading at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.
