CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC has constructed a new kindergarten in Ganushkino (Atyrau Oblast)

On November 2, 2017, there was an opening ceremony of the kindergarten in the village of Ganushkino, Kurmangazinsky district, built under the CPC charity program.
This official ceremony was attended by Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC Deputy General Director, RoK Government Relations, and Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, district and local authorities as well as future kindergarteners and their parents.
Being a good corporate citizen, CPC is implementing a large-scale and consistent program of social support to the regions where it operates and their sustainable development. “Over its operations in Kurmangazinsky district, CPC has invested more than KZT 773 mln into construction and equipment of health care, cultural and sport institutions, social infrastructure and aid to socially vulnerable population”, said Mr. Kabyldin at the official ceremony.
The cost of construction of the kindergarten for 200 children amounts to KZT 605 mln. The total area of this pre-school facility exceeds 2,000 m2. The two-storied building will accommodate 8 groups of 25 children from age three to seven. Each group will have its own building section with all necessary premises. The building has special halls for music lessons, physical exercises, different classes as well as offices for preschool education professionals. The laundry, medical room, warehouse with freight elevator are on the ground floor. Sport and play grounds are located in the yard.
As part of CPC cooperation with the Atyrau Oblast Akimat, CPC has constructed in Kurmangazinsky district an open hockey arena, street lighting, two amusement parks, gas supply and summer water supply lines. Moreover, CPC donated vehicles of various purpose to the district. Social support campaigns for the disabled, orphans and children from low-income families and in troubled family situations are continuously conducted with CPC assistance.
In near term it is planned to construct a kindergarten for 290 children in Akkol and school for 80 persons in Zhastalap, Kuramangazinsky district.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
