CPC for Astrakhan Region Schoolchildren

On 23 November 2017, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Astrakhan Region Governor Alexander Zhilkin handed over 10 Mercedes school buses to general education institutions in the region. The consortium allocated over 45 mln rubles to purchase the modern and safe transport for schoolchildren.
Each bus is designed to carry 22 passengers and equipped with a Glonass system. All seats have safety belts and individual communications with the driver; there is a standalone heating system and special anti-slip carpeting is installed in the passenger compartment. In order to ensure safe transportation of children, the busses are equipped with a speed limiter up to 60 kph and a device that does not allow to start moving with a door open.
Handing over keys to the school buses, CPC General Director stated that the consortium had been actively cooperating with the region for many years in such social fields as culture, healthcare, education, sports, providing targeted assistance to vulnerable groups of the population.
“CPC does not only run a business, but it also finds it its duty to assist the development of the social sphere in the host regions. We always help children’s institution with special pleasure”, stressed Nikolay Gorban.
“We are glad such a good corporate citizen as CPC is working in the region and we wish our long-time reliable partner a further successful development”, stated Governor Alexander Zhilkin.
