CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC has constructed “Aistenok” kindergarten in Starokucherganovka village, Astrakhan region

On 7 December 2017 Starokucherganovka village of Narimanov disrict, Astrakhan region, hosted an official commissioning ceremony of a new 55-seat kindergarten, the construction of which was completely financed by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
The ribbon was cut by Nikolay Gorban, General Director of CPC, and Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan region. The commissioning ceremony was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director of CPC-R, Radik Kharisov, Deputy Chairman of the Astrakhan Regional Government, Minister of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources of Astrakhan region, Vitaly Gutman, Minister of Education and Science of Astrakhan region, representatives of district and local administrations, future kindergarten pupils and their parents. Nikolay Gorban stressed the importance of existing good partner relations between CPC and the Astrakhan Regional Government and noted that implementation of social projects and programs was an integral component of the CPC activities in its operation areas.
The construction of the Aistenok kindergarten started in December 2016. Since then a two-storey building has been constructed, utilities have been laid, all the required state-of-the-art process equipment has been installed, including that for the catering facility and for laundry facility.  The kindergarten is equipped with comfortable furniture, it has an assembly hall and gym. Children will attend various hobby clubs.
The construction cost of the building with total floorspace of 1366,8 sq.m exceeded RUR 51 million. CPC spent RUR 2.7 million more for the installation of outdoor amenities, including gazebos, benches, sports and gaming equipment in the kindergarten territory.
As a reminder, Aistenok kindergarten is not the only such facility constructed as part of the CPC charity program in the Astrakhan region. A new 60-seat kindergarten was commissioned in August 2017 in Baibek village. It is planned to finish construction of a 70-seat kindergarten in Kharabali by end-2017. Since the beginning of 2017 CPC has spent more than RUR 320 million for implementation of social projects in Astrakhan region.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
