CPC takes stock of its 2017 regional charity programs

In 2017 CPC-R implemented 51 charity projects financed by both Base Business and Expansion Project budgets (total regional social support budget - RUR 806 mln).
In the regions of its presence the Consortium built and upgraded three schools (two in Krasnodar Krai and one in the Republic of Kalmykia), three kindergartens in Astrakhan Oblast and one clinic (Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai), as well as provided all necessary equipment and furniture for the facilities.
Municipal agencies and schools in the regions where CPC-R operates received 57 buses in total. 30 new ambulances were provided to the medical facilities of Kalmykia and Stavropol Krai. Considerable quantities of modern hi-tech diagnostics equipment was delivered to the regional hospitals and clinics.
In support of the socially important aspects of regional life the Consortium continued with its traditional charity programs, such as “CPC to First-Graders”, and “New Year and Christmas with CPC”, as well as rendered assistance to the socially disadvantaged social groups.
This year, the “CPC to First-Graders” Project covered nearly 10.5 thousand schoolchildren in Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol Krai, Krasnodar Krai and Novorossiysk. For acquisition of the school bags completed with all necessary stationery alone the Consortium allocated approximately RUR 27 mln.
Various environmental programs of rare flora and fauna conservation were implemented in 2017. The Consortium rendered financial support to the large-scale environmental awareness program targeting children in the Republic of Kalmykia and Astrakhan Oblast.
In 2018, CPC-R Base Business will continue cooperation with the regions where CPC divisions are based. Agreements with Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, Republic of Kalmykia and Astrakhan Oblast create solid conditions for support of such social spheres as education, health care, physical education and sports, ecology, etc. Social responsibility remains one of the priorities of the Consortium ensuring comprehensive interaction between CPC and the regions of its presence.
