Kindergarten built for CPC funds declared best in Russia

Kindergarten No 18 “The Treasure Island” in the village of Glebovka near Novorossisk has become the winner of the All-Russia Model Kindergarten-2018 Competition. It was picked out of almost 42,000 pre-school institutions in Russia. A strict competition jury took into account such performance criteria as children’s intellectual development, health care, cognitive and creative ability development.
Kindergarten No 18 was build in 2014 using charity funds of Caspian Pipeline Consortium. The institution named The Treasure Island has everything necessary to create comfortable accommodation for children, even a swimming pool. CPC’s charity funds were used to equipment the kindergarten on a turnkey basis with furniture, kitchen, laundry room and ironing equipment, toys and playground accessories. The consortium allocated a total of almost RUR 140 mln to build and furnish the kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed for 160 children, including  the smallest ones with ages from 2 to 3 years in a crèche group.
CPC Team has been staying in touch with the kindergarten after it was commissioned. The consortium is involved in organizing holiday parties, buys New Year presents for the children and school accessory sets for the kindergarten’s graduates.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
