CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

The Project is designed to increase the trunk pipeline capacity

Volumes Loaded at CPC Marine Terminal in June

In June 2018, CPC-R loaded 5,015 401 gross tons (39,682,867 barrels) of crude oil at the CPC-R Marine Terminal,  which is 328,752 tons more year-on-year.
Out of the 5,015 401 tons lifted, 2,098,281 tons of crude oil were from Tengiz, field 877,122 tons - from Karachaganak field, 1,164,946 tons - from Kashagan field and 875,052 tons - from other producers. In June, the Russian Shippers exported 669,245 gross tons of crude through CPC-R pipeline system.
Total of 278 tankers were loaded since the beginning of the year through July 2, 2018, with 46 tankers loaded in June.
As a reminder, in March 2018, the CPC Marine Terminal hit the record monthly loading. Crude oil shipment volume reached 5,506,294 tons (43,609,021 barrels), which is almost 6% higher than the previous record of December 2017 when the monthly loading at the CPC Marine Terminal was 5,196,229 tons.
From 2001 through July 1, 2018 total of 552,108,794 net tons of crude oil were delivered to the world markets by Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system. 480,088,099 tons of that amount of crude oil come from Kazakhstani Shippers and 72,020,695 tons of “black gold” were produced in Russia.
About 75% of all crude oil resources exported from Kazakhstan is transported by the CPC pipeline system.
FYI:
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
