CPC to Astrakhan region medical institutions

20180823.jpgOn August 22, 2018 in Astrakhan Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director and Alexander Zhilkin, Head of Astrakhan region handed over ambulances to five healthcare institutions of the region.

A total of 10 ambulances was handed over for purchase whereof the consortium allocated about 23.6 mln. rub. State Budgetary Healthcare Institution JSC Liman District Hospital, State Budgetary Healthcare Institution JSC Kharabali District Hospital n.a. G. Khrapova, State Budgetary Healthcare Institution JSC Narimanov District Hospital, State Budgetary Healthcare Institution JSC Yenotaevka District Hospital and State Budgetary Healthcare Institution JSC Krasny Yar District Hospital each received two ambulances.

All handed over vehicles are class B enabling emergency medical services provision by a doctors (paramedics) team during patients transportation and monitoring of their physical condition during transportation to hospital.

The special vehicles are fitted with all the required advanced equipment: monitor-defibrillators, 3-channel ECG machines, assisted and controlled ventilation machines, pulse oximeters, express blood glucose meters, obstetrical kits, etc.

The handed over vehicles will significantly improve the emergency medical response quality and efficiency for people living in the Astrakhan Region remote settlements.

In 1998 – 2017 the Consortium invested about 928 mln. rub. in charity projects in Astrakhan region.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker lifting at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.

The Expansion Project includes rehabilitation of 5 existing and construction of 10 additional pump stations (2 in the Republic of Kazakhstan and 8 in the Russian Federation), six new storage tanks (100,000 cu.m each) in addition to the existing four near Novorossiysk and a third SPM at the CPC Marine Terminal, and also the replacement of an 88 km pipeline section in Kazakhstan with a larger diameter pipe. The total amount of the Project investments will be US$ 5.4 billion.
