New Vehicles for Astrakhan Region Schoolchildren

On 30 August 2018, CPC Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov and Astrakhan Region Governor Alexander Zhilkin handed over 10 Mercedes school buses to the regional pre-school, general education and sport institutions. The Consortium has allocated over RUR 25 million to procure modern and safe vehicles for children.
Each bus is designed for 22 passengers and equipped with the Glonass system. All seats have safety belts and intercom with the driver. The passenger compartment features an autonomous heating system and special anti-slip flooring. For safe transportation of children the buses are equipped with a 60 km/h speed-limit device and a device preventing movement with the door not closed.
It was noted during the buses delivery ceremony that CPC had been actively and for many years interacting with the region in such social areas as culture, public health, education, sports, had provided targeted aid to vulnerable population groups. In 1998-2017, the Consortium allocated about RUR 928 million for the charity projects within the Astrakhan Region.
New motor vehicles were received by five districts of the region (Krasnoyarsky, Kharabalinsky, Enotaevsky, Narimanovsky and Limansky) crossed by the Consortium oil pipeline.
For reference:
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
