CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC Delivered 6 Buses for Sports and Social Institutions of the Republic of Kalmykia

20181205-1-1.jpg20181205-1-2.jpgOn 4 December 2018, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kalmykia Igor Zotov and CPC Government Relations Representative Ulyumdzhi Chidzhiev attended the ceremony of delivering 6 specialized vehicles for the sports and social institutions of the Republic of Kalmykia.

One bus handed over for the needs of KU RK “Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children and Teenagers” is designed specifically for transportation of disabled people. The Center is the only institution in the Republic providing medical/social and social/pedagogical rehabilitation for handicapped children. The Center services about 600 children.

Procurement of a specialized motor vehicle will resolve the problem of daily delivery of children, including those in wheelchairs, for rehabilitation to the Center, diagnostic departments of hospitals and polyclinics, sports events and creative activities festivals outside the Republic, as well as to hippotherapy classes and recreational events.

Besides, procurement of 5 modern buses for the sports institutions of Kalmykia will help to arrange trips of sportsmen to training camps and competitions of various levels and provide their comfortable transportation. The cost of the project amounted to RUR 24,1 million.

Procurement of additional buses of this class for intercity travel will impart an extra impetus to the development of children/youth sports in the Republic, will enhance efficiency of training process, create additional prerequisites for involvement of more children in physical training and sports and their achievement of high results.

In the course of the ceremony, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kalmykia Igor Zotov noted: “CPC provides continuous systemic assistance in the reinforcement of the material/technical resources of the republican health, education, culture and sports institutions. We thank CPC for the support of the children and youth sports, generation of favorable conditions for education and comprehensive development of children.”

In 2018, the Consortium allocated RUR 256,6 million for charity programs for the Republic of Kalmykia.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
