CPC Participation in All-Russia Safety Week

Caspian Pipeline Consortium is among the participants of the V All-Russia Safety Week held in Sochi on April 22-26. CPC delegation led by General Director Nikolay Gorban includes First Deputy General Director Kenneth Yoss, General Manager, Operations Vladimir Shmakov, General Manager, HSE Erica Vela-Toussaint, Technical Director Igor Lisin, HR Manager Alexander Berezhanov, Transport Manager Alexey Bunarev, Marine Terminal Manager Alexey Pelipenko, WR Manager Sergey Potryasov, CR Manager Ivan Sharay and ER Manager Mukhit Mazhenov.
CPC Managers will visit the key event of the Program: “HSE Prospects in Russia – Operational Safety Preventive Controls and Culture” strategic plenary session and will participate as speakers at the round-table discussions on “HSE Prospects in Russia – Operational Safety Preventive Controls and Culture”, Staff and management Motivation and Engagement in Operational Safety Management”, “Seven Golden Rules are Easy and Effective”, etc.

All-Russia Safety Week is traditionally held at the Main Media Center on the initiative of the RF Ministry of Labor with support by the RF Government. Organizing Committee of the Week is headed by Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Chairperson of the RF Government. Over the five years of its history the Week became the key HSE event in the entire ex-USSR territory. All-Russia Safety Week is the forum for discussion of the innovative developments, programs, draft regulatory documents related to operational safety. All-Russia Safety Week events target top managers, divisions managers and specialists in labor protection, operational and fire safety, environmental protection, personnel management and social security, financial and legal matters. Participation in the Week promotes enhancement of professional qualifications, demonstration of the corporate committment to operational safety.
CPC has been participating in the All-Russia Safety Week since 2015 and as an official partner this year.

For reference: in 2018, CPC became the winner in the All-Russia “Health and Safety - 2017” Competition held within the framework of the All-Russia Safety Week. Caspian Pipeline Consortium won the first prize in the nomination of "Methodology for monitoring and assurance of safe working conditions” for its innovative project “The Concept of Corporate Safety Culture Development”.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in the energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
