CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC built children clinic in Izobilny, Stavropol Krai

On 16 May 2019 Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director of CPC and Vladimir Vladimirov, Governor of the Stavropol Krai, opened new building of children clinic at the district hospital territory in Izobilny. The formal ceremony was attended by RF Government Relations, Roman Petrashov, Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol Krai Government, Vitaly Khotsenko, Minister of Energy, Industry and Communications, and Viktor Mazharov, Minister of Health.
Caspian Pipeline Consortium has spent more than RUR 66 million for the design and construction of the children clinic. The building has an area of approximately 1,500 square meters. The clinic is designed to process 150 visits per shift and has a 25-seat in-patient facility.
High social importance of the new clinic for the region was noted during the opening ceremony and will lead to significant rise in the quality and availability of professional medical care.  This is due to the fact that the Children Clinic has the state-of-the-art medical equipment, purchased mainly using the CPC charity funds.
For reference, in February 2019 CPC handed over 18 ambulance vehicles to the 6 of the region’s medical institutions: N.I. Palchikov Apanasenkovsky District Hospital, Ipatovo District Hospital, Novoalexandrovsk District Hospital, Trunovsky District Hospital, Turkmensky District Hospital, Regional Children Clinical Hospital.  The Regional Cardiological Dispensary received state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment purchased with financial assistance of CPC.
It should be noted that CPC spent over RUR 330 million for the support of the Stavropol Krai’s healthcare in 2014-2018.  All joint social projects are implemented in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between the Stavropol Krai Government and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium stipulating, in particular, provision of support in such areas as education, healthcare, culture, environment, children sports development, targeted aid to disadvantaged social groups.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
