On September 23, in the G.F. Ponomarenko Philharmonic Hall in Krasnodar a gala concert and an awarding ceremony of the second (regional) stage of the "CPC to Gifted Children Festival-2019” was held. Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, and Anna Minkova, Krasnodar Krai Deputy Governor, young contest participants and their teachers attended the ceremony.
The previous day winners of the first (absentee) stage together with their mentors took part in master classes organized by famous artists, laureates of various international competitions. They were conducted by Professor, Lecturer at the Department of Popular Jazz Singing at the Moscow Humanitarian University Svetlana Koroteeva, Lecturer at the Central Music School (College) of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky Natalia Bogdanova, Expert Choreographer of the Moscow Department of Culture, Professor of the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A. Schnittke Sergey Lukin. Master classes were held in "Pop singing", "Instrumental music", "People's stage dance" and "Folk instrument performers".
In total, almost 2,300 young talented people from Krasnodar Krai (Ust-Labinsky, Tbilisky, Kavkazsky, Krasnoarmeisky, Krymsky, Abinsky, Dinsky, Korenovsky districts and the city of Krasnodar) participated in the CPC to Gifted Children Festival-2019. More than 1.1 thousand videos were submitted to the jury.
The winners and laureates of the contest selected by the professional jury received the most prized certificates for a trip to Moscow, where the third and final stage of the festival - the Uniting Cultural Forum - will take place on October 26-30, 2019. They will be joined by the laureates of the CPC to Gifted Children Festival from Kazakhstan, who welcomes this competition for the first time this year. In total, about 12 thousand people took part in the contest.
FYI: The CPC to Gifted Children Festival, which was born exactly two decades ago, is targeted to support gifted children in all regions, where the consortium operates.
