Launched in Krasnodar Krai, it has gradually spread throughout the regions in Russia where CPC operates. In its milestone year, the festival gained international prominence due to participation of gifted children from Kazakhstan.
In total, more than 10,000 gifted children and teenagers took part in the three-stage competition in 2019 and presented to the eminent jury about 3,000 creative works in various categories (singing, choreography, musical instrument playing, declamation).
Children's amateur groups and performers from the districts of the CPC pipeline route in Astrakhan Oblast, Kalmykia, Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai, as well as from Atyrau, Aktobe, Mangistau and West Kazakhstan participated in the first qualifying round of the contest. Performances of contest participants were evaluated by distinguished judges consisting of well-known members of creative community, honored artists of Russia and Kazakhstan, teachers, laureates of various international competitions.
The second round of the competition included master classes in each region focusing on improvement of performance skills of participants, on their repertoire, as well as modern teaching techniques and experience sharing with local teachers working in the regions.
The best representatives of the regions took part in the third final round of the contest. For a few days winners of regional contest rounds together with their teachers took part in master classes and competed with other contest participants in their nominations.  A cultural program, including a Moscow sightseeing tour, was also organized for all children.  The final gala concert was a bright final chord of the CPC to Talented Children Festival in 2019, and it was warmly received by numerous spectators, who sincerely supported young performers.
