Receipt of applications from participants of the festival-competition “CPC to Talented Children, 2020” is over

The interest to the festival “CPC to Talented Children” keeps growing: the number of applications in 2020 has increased by more than 50% compared to the previous year.
In late February 2020, the preliminary results of the first (absentia) tour of the festival “CPC to Talented Children” were summarized. The stage was launched on the Festival web site on January 13th, traditionally it is held in Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krai, including Novorossiysk.
The Festival is aimed at supporting talented children from the regions crossed by the pipeline and where CPC operations facilities are located; it gives an opportunity to young talents of testing their creative abilities in various nominations. In 2020, the nominations stay unchanged: choreography, classical dance, singing (pop, folklore and academic), folk musical instruments, instrumental music and dramatic art.
As of today, the number of received applications exceeded the 2019 number by more than 50%.  The number of participants is at least 15,000 (for comparison: last year 10,000 talented boys and girls participated in the competition). Following the review of creative works by the reputable panel, the best performers will be invited to participate in the regional tours to be held in April 2020 in Novorossiysk and Stavropol, in May - in Astrakhan, in September - in Krasnodar and Elista. Master classes by the grand masters from the leading Russian musical and theatrical higher educational institutions will be arranged for them and their art tutors.
250 laureates of the regional stages will be then invited to Moscow to the competition finals. A gala concert in the KVN Planet hall will become the crown of the festival “CPC to Talented Children, 2020”. It will be conducted on November 2 and the winners and finalists of the creative competition and the guests from the Republic of Kazakhstan will participate in it.
