CPC Marine Terminal Staff Took Part In the Green Spring Environmental Campaign

On 23 April 2021, CPC Marine Terminal staff took part in the Green Spring Environmental Campaign. This traditional event is held annually throughout Russia on the eve of the Victory Day - 9 May.
In Yuzhnaya Ozereevka the local residents and volunteers of the Youth Center of Novorossiysk Municipality came out to improve the area, clean and remove trash from the beach. Use of IVECO commercial vehicle recently handed over to the Center by Caspian Pipeline Consortium as part of a charity project became of great help to the environmental campaign participants this year.
In addition to tidying up the shoreline from Yuzhnaya Ozereevka beach to CPC Marine Terminal, the site with a unique ancient dolmen complex in the village of Vasilievka was landscaped. The work was completed under control of Alexander Dmitriev, famous archaeological scientist who had discovered this complex in 1985 and has been researching these historical monuments for many years. In 2000, Caspian Pipeline Consortium restored the unique monument located near the Tank Farm, and continues to participate in maintaining it.
It is worth adding that in 2021, CPC will construct five children playgrounds in Glebovka rural district. As part of the Consortium’s charity program this year, construction of two medical institutions is planned: a paramedic and midwife station and a general practitioner’s office in the villages of Vasilievka and Severnaya Ozereevka, and also design and survey work for creation of a Culture and Aesthetic Center for Children and Youth in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka.  The work to design a children and youth soccer stadium in Vasilievka is to be completed in May 2021.
For reference.
CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in the energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. Tengiz–Novorossiysk pipeline length is 1,511 km. It transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
