SPIEF-2021: CPC and MTS Signed a Memo on Cooperation

20210602-3.jpgOn June 2021, Nikolay Gorban, General Director, Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and Inessa Galaktionova, First Vice President for Telecommunications Business, Member of the MTS Management Board, signed a Memorandum on Cooperation and Interaction.

The signing ceremony took place at the Petersburg International Economic Forum - SPIEF-2018.

The subject-matter of the Memorandum is to establish and develop cooperation aimed at implementing infrastructure projects and projects improving mobile communications in CPC offices and at its sites as well as to organize modern digital mobile services on the basis of MTS network for the benefit of the international consortium.

MTS PJSC is a Russian company providing telecommunications, digital and media services in Russia, Armenia and Belarus under the MTS brand name. The company provides cellular and wireline telecommunications, mobile and fixed broadband Internet access, financial and other services. As of September 2020, the company provides services to 88 million subscribers in all countries of its presence, and 78.2 million subscribers in Russia.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
