CPC Safety Day in Kuban

20210923-1.jpgOn 22 September 2021, CPC Safety Day took place in Plastunovskaya village, Dinsky District, Krasnodar Krai. The event was attended by 16 teams representing Russian and foreign companies: Teams CPC Eastern, Central, Western Region, Marine Terminal and DBN, Vellesstroy Russia and Kazakhstan, Prom Expert, Starstroy, Master Service, Ekra, Nachin, UTP, SNG, KazTransOil and GyproVostokNeft. In total, almost 200 people took a crack at a competition program.

The program consisted of four competitions under the motto «Together to Victory». They included knowledge and skill tests in an unorthodox form in such disciplines as first aid, fire and environmental safety, use of PPE and collective protection, electric safety, and defensive driving. This year's novelty was a team captains’ competition held in a separate area. They demonstrated their sports and leadership qualities, gaining extra points for their teams.

20210923-2.jpgCPC shareholder reps and participant company CEOs had a round table to discuss current safety issues and share experience. As part of the Safety Day event program, they had visited PS-8 the day before, where they had a tour of the industrial site area.

CPC Safety Day has been held since 2012. Its objective is to enhance CPC, partner and contractor personnel motivation in health, safety and environmental protection. Leadership and employee interaction during the event accompanied by regulatory knowledge testing help enhance employee responsibility and motivation, improve knowledge and skills, demonstrate commitment to work safety using personal example both during the Safety Day and at the workplace.
