Bidder’s Prequalification Notice
The Organizer hereby notifies the bidders of the prequalification to be conducted in regards of a subject tender.
All legal entities, entrepreneurs and their associations that are compliant with the criteria set out herein and capable on supplying the subject Delivery are invited to participate in prequalification.
Those who successfully passed the prequalification will be invited to bid and send the bid package.
The Organizer may decline to proceed with the tender at any time. The Organizer shall not reimburse bidders for any expenses or losses incurred in relation to their participation in the tender.
All parties compliant with the criteria set out herein and interested in prequalification should send an Application and all required documentation to the Tender Board Secretary per the procedure described in the Prequalification Package.

| Purchase Description |
MT operates two dia 42’’ submarine lines 4.6 km and 5.3 km long respectively.
The submarine lines are export lines of the non-piggable type.
Each submarine line has a pig launcher/receiver on shore.
From the seaward each submarine line ends in a pipeline end manifold (PLEM) lying in a depth of 57 metres and having no pig trap.
CJSC CPC-R requires MT submarine lines smart pigging by making use of a bidirectional intelligent pig capable of moving inside the line forth and back.
The bidirectional smart pigging ought to result in issuance of findings on the condition of the pipeline body identifying, classifying and assessing the following defects and pipeline particular features:
- discontinuity (cracks, poor fusion, incomplete fusion) in the spiral, longitudinal and ring welds;
- abnormalities (pores, undercutting) in the spiral, longitudinal and ring welds;
- longitudinal and transverse cracks in the pipe body;
- Metal loss (internal and external);
- Grooves, scratches, guide marks (risks associated with metal loss);
- Dents and buckles, including those with additional defects or adjacent to welds;
- Pipeline repair structures (brackets, patches, sleeves, welded elements including those not allowed by regulatory documents);
- Other peculiar features (rings, foreign object, etc.).

| Key Bidder Selection Criteria |
Potential bidders must meet the following key requirements:
- Permits and certificates for smart pigging.
- At least 3 years of experience in smart pigging of 'non-piggable' type lines;
- Resources andpersonnel to do the job;
- Getting a permit from Rostekhnadzor to do smart pigging at a process facility hazardous from fire and blast.Additional requirements to Bidders are described in the prequalification documents.

Such companies will be prohibited to participate in all tenders carried out by Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
