JSC “Caspian Pipeline Consortium – R” within the scope of long-term cooperation presented the new bus and rehabilitation equipment to Astrakhan Social Rehabiliation Center “Rus”. In particular, “Ortodent”, the multifunctional device for mechanotherapy, veloergometer, EN-Cardio series, and massage table. Total amount of charity support was 3,6 million rubles.
As the governor, Alexander Zhilin, pointed out, this is an important and necessary social partnership. Head of the region made an acknowledgement to the management of Consortium for the provided charity support. “CPC-R” has been participating for many years in social projects of Astrakhan oblast.
The cooperation between “Rus” center and the Consortium has been lasting for over ten years. Only in 2015 “CPC-R”, within the scope of charity program, rendered assistance for purchasing the rehabilitation and medical equipment for the amount of 10,5 mln. rubles. «Permanent charity help — Consortium’s policy. We build kindergartens, schools, buy buses for centers, medical equipment” – said the Company’s General Director, Nikolai Gorban.
So, thanks to Consortium, “Rus” was supplied with one of the up-to-date achievements of native medicine, with no matching analogue in the world, - multifunctional apparatus “Ortorent”. It allows to restore the functioning of both lower and upper parts of the body. This training simulator can be applied even when the sensitivity in legs and arms is fully diminished. Besides, the device is additionally supplied with built-in tablet for remote control, via Internet, over the exercises and for monitoring the analysis of the patient’s results.
The Center’s director, Sergey Berezin, says that “the use of the innovation equipment is possible in all circumstances when there is a paralysis”. «Due to such a support our center can be compared to a scientific center in terms of equipment. It can be called unique. The supplied equipment will greatly increase our capabilities of rehabilitation of invalids”, - noted the head of the center.
The capacities of the center will also be considerably expanded by having the Ford Transit bus presented to us within the scope of charity activity. The bus was designed for 25 passengers and equipped with all necessary tools and devices for comfortable and safe driving, is equipped with individual safety belts and remote communication with the driver, has an antiskid floor covering.
«Availability of such modern vehicle gives our patients a chance to visit theaters, exhibitions, concerts and be a productive member of society”, - specialists say.
