CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

New vehicles from CPC for the schools of Novorossiysk

On March 12, 2018 CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Novorossiysk Mayor Igor Diachenko handed over five school buses to rural schools located within the hero city municipality. The handover ceremony was held with participation of CPC-R Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov, representatives of Novorossiysk Department of Education, heads of educational institutions.
The school buses were handed over within the territory of General Education School #25 in Semigorie Khutor. In addition to this school, new buses were handed over to General Education School #23 in Gaiduk village, General Education School #31 of Glebovskoe village, General Education School # 14 of Verkhnebakansky village.  One excursion bus was handed over to the Directorate of Education of Novorossiysk.
The cost of the vehicles purchased with CPC funds totalled almost 22 Million rubles. The buses are equipped with GLONASS navigation system, overspeed limiters, external speakers, digital tachographs, emergency services alert devices and other equipment to ensure passengers’ safety.
Handing over the keys for the school buses, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban noted that it is not only business that Consortium is involved in, but it also actively interfaces with the Minicipality Administration in such social areas as culture, healthcare, education, sports, and it also provides other types of aid targeted at vulnerable community members.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker lifting at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.
