CPC supplies the newest equipment to Novorossiysk City Theater

7 November 2019 Caspian Pipeline Consortium donated the latest video projection and audio amplification equipment to Novorossiysk City Theater. CPC Deputy General Director for RF Government Relations Mikhail Grishankov, First Deputy Head of Novorossiysk Municipality Svetlana Kalinina and other dignitaries attended the equipment delivery ceremony.
In her remarks, First Deputy Mayor reminded the audience 2019 had been declared the Year of the Theater in Russia.
– This is a truly momentous occasion: the city's leading cultural institution receiving such a remarkable gift in the Year of the Theater. This is also an anniversary year for the theater's troupe that has celebrated its 60th birthday this year, – stated Svetlana Kalinina.
CPC allocated more than 8.5M rubles to purchase the equipment for the Novorossiysk City Theater. The delivered package includes an over 12 m² LED screen, three-way active speaker system, control console that monitors some four thousand various parameters and powerful subwoofers. Right after the formal part of the ceremony the young theater goers saw this technology in action – the video projectors and amplifiers were used in the stage production of the children’s play “The Extraordinary Adventure of Funtik”.
It is worth noting over many years the cultural sector has been a priority in CPC’s charitable activity. Case in point, in 2018 the Consortium renovated and furnished with the newest equipment the “Kuban” Cultural Center in Novorossiysk. Caspian Pipeline Consortium provided close to 48M rubles for these purposes.
