Kindergarten No. 18 “Treasure Island” erected in 2014 on CPC funds in Glebovskoye village of Novorossiysk municipal entity has won the 2019 All-Russia Exhibition-Competition “Kindergarten: World of Love and Care”. The competition was held by the Federal Expert Board of Education System under the Education Development Federation on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of pre-school education quality assessment, taking into account the recommendations of the RF Education Ministry, international and Russian practices.
In 2018, Kindergarten No. 18 “Treasure Island” was the winner of another all-Russia exhibition-competition. At that time, it was selected as a model one out of almost 42 thousand pre-school institutions of the country. Strict judges of the competition considered such criteria, as results of children intellectual growth and health promotion, development of cognitive and creative capabilities.
In December 2019, the kindergarten will celebrate its 5th anniversary. The institution, which even has its own swimming pool, was provided by the Consortium with all the items required: furniture, kitchen, laundering and ironing equipment, toys and implements for playgrounds. CPC allocated for construction and furnishing of the kindergarten the total of almost RUR 140 million. The kindergarten is designed for 160 kids, including the youngest ones of 2-3 years in the nursery group.
CPC continues maintaining close relations with the kindergarten after its commissioning. The Consortium participates in the organization of festivals, gives New Year presents to children and school accessories to graduates. It is also noteworthy that the kindergarten is attended by the children of the Consortium employees working in Novorossiysk and at the Marine Terminal in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka.
