CPC For the Benefit of Novorossiysk

A ceremony was held in Novorossiysk in late 2019 to hand over a prestigious award “For the Benefit of Novorossiysk”. This award is handed over annually to recognize the contributions of the natives of Novorossiysk, their initiatives and high achievements in implementing the projects aimed at the development of the Hero City.
Caspian Pipeline Consortium became an award winner in the “Event of the Year” nomination.  The nomination distinguishes people, enterprises and organizations which contribute to the development of culture, art, sports, offer projects aimed at promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people. Municipality Mayor Igor Diachenko handed the award to Alexei Pelipenko, CPC Marine Terminal Regional Manager.
- All the award recipients have one thing in common: aspiration to make the life in our city more comfortable and better. Those who by their labor, talent, experience and personal involvement has been making contribution throughout the year, day after day, to the development and prosperity of our great hero city of Novorossiysk, - noted the City Head Igor Diachenko at the award-handing ceremony.
In 2019, CPC allocated over 72 M Rubles to the charity programs in Novorossiysk. In particular, the Consortium purchased the up-to-date video and audio equipment for Novorossiysk Municipal Theater, donated 10 comfortable passenger buses, handed over three new buses to schools in Abrau-Dyurso and village of Raevskaya.
About 800 young gifted persons from 10 settlements which are part of the Municipality of Novorossiysk participated in the children and youth creativity Festival titled “CPC to Gifted Children, 2019”.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
