Latest technological developments for the Stavropol Krai medical institutions

The official transfer of state-of-the-art equipment to the Stavropol Krai medical institutions took place in Stavropol on 29 January 2020. The ceremony was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director of CPC, RF Government Relations; Alexander Boykov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Stavropol Krai Government; Viktor Mazharov, Minister of Health; Vladimir Koshel, Rector of the Stavropol State Medical University and other officials.
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium purchased the whole body dual energy X-ray bone densitometer (DEXA) based on narrow angle fan beam technology for the Stavropol Krai Endocrinological Dispensary. The equipment of this type makes possible working with patients of all ages and performs investigation of mineral bone density allowing therapists to identify osteoporosis at an earlier stage and prescribe treatment on a timely basis. CPC spent RUR 8.5 million for the above project implementation.
CPC handed over acute dialysis apparatus with the citrate anticoagulation module and НМ70А-RUS ultrasound diagnostic apparatus for the total value of RUR 7.2 million to the Stavropol Krai Children’s Clinical Hospital. Multifiltrate acute dialysis system is specifically designed for highly efficient procedures of extracorporeal detoxication and intensive care with possibility of renal replacement therapy for patients weighing more than 2 kg.
It should be noted that in 2019, CPC allocated approximately RUR 60 million for the charity programs in the Stavropol Krai.  All joint social projects are implemented in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Stavropol Krai and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which stipulates, in particular, providing support in such fields as education, healthcare, culture, environment, children sport development, targeted assistance for disadvantaged social groups.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
