CPC Presents Equipment for the Kalmykia’s Medical Institutions

The formal transfer of state-of-the-art equipment to the Republican Hospital of War Veterans took place in Elista on 6 February 2020. Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director and Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic, participated in the ceremony.
For the needs of the Republican Hospital of War Veterans CPC acquired medical equipment for the total amount of about RUR 15 million. The scope of delivery includes Pentax endoscopy system with endoscope reprocessing and Logiq portable multi-purpose ultrasound system with pulse-wave, color and power doppler. This equipment developed on the basis of latest scientific achievements and international experience will enable medical personnel to timely identify different diseases including oncology and render all the required medical aid.
The Republican Hospital of War Veterans is the key institution in the Republic for treatment and medical rehabilitation of war veterans and categories of population with equal benefits: veterans of the Great Patriotic War and their widows, Soviet home front workers of the WWII years, family members of fallen servicemen, etc. It should be noted that as of 1 January 2019 there were more than 50,000 people of over 60 years of age registered in the Republic, with almost 7,000 war veterans among them.
The same day five off-road ambulance vehicles VAZ-2131 were officially transferred to the V.D. Mandjieva Republican Children’s Medical Center. The cost of this charity project of CPC – RUR 4.1 million. These vehicles are very much in demand and will greatly improve quality and accessibility of medical aid to the children in case of house call. At present the total number of calls for neighborhood pediatricians and nurses may achieve 900 calls a day with the significant number of pediatric districts located in remote localities of Elista and the Tselinny District with service radius of up to 60 km.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
