First-Grade Pupils of Atyrau Oblast Rural Schools Received Gifts from CPC

Atyrau.jpgAn annual charity event “CPC to First-Grade Pupils” was held in Atyrau Oblast, Republic of Kazakhstan. Boys and girls who start their education this year in rural schools received complete sets of necessary school accessories in beautiful and practical schoolbags as a gift from Caspian Pipeline Consortium. This year, the Consortium’s traditional event has particular significance and relevance under conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sets received by the first-grade pupils of Atyrau Oblast schools include everything needed to start a travel adventure to the Country of knowledge: exercise books, pens, color pencils, paints, sketchbooks and many other things. Not only children but also their parents are delighted with the variety of high-quality educational accessories. The gifts for a new school year will become an incentive to the first-grade pupils to study hard and behave perfectly.

CPC-K most important tasks include the Company's development as a good citizen. Since 2001, the Company has been providing a charity aid to construction of social facilities in Atyrau Oblast and constantly supports needy and single-parent families, children with disabilities and children without parents. Construction of schools in the settlement of Zhastalap, Kurmangazy District, settlement of Kurylys, Indersky District, and village of Aktogay, Makhambetovsky Districy, supported by CPC-K can serve as an example of cooperation, in addition to traditional annual program “CPC to First-Grade Pupils”.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
