CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC’s contribution to Kuban’s social infrastructure

Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director for Russian Government Relations, and Anna Minkova, Krasnodar Region Deputy Governor, presented benefactor charity certificates to heads of Kuban health institutions at the Krasnodar Region administration office on 22 October 2020. The papers confirm that medical equipment was purchased, delivered and commissioned for a total value of about 40 million rubles.
The format of the certificate presentation event was selected considering the current epidemiological situation in order to ensure additional safety of all attendees during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
Two Krasnodar hospitals received Lufter 5 artificial lung ventilation units. Three units went to the Krasnodar Clinical Ambulance and two units were delivered to the City Clinical Hospital No. 3.  The equipment is designed to be used by intensive therapy and emergency room departments to support artificial lung ventilation for adults and children.
The Krasnodar Children’s City Clinical Hospital received an automatic nutrient dispenser unit, a nutrient preparation device and an automatic pre-analytic sample preparation and immunochemical testing facility. The equipment will allow to broaden the range of tests done on patients, standardize and automate the process, significantly diminish the impact of the human factor and increase the number tests done. It is worth noting that the Krasnodar Children’s City Clinical Hospital carries out tests for the  population of the whole region, including the Kavkazsky, Korenovsky, Krymsky, Dinsky, Krasnoarmeysky, Ust-Labinsky, Abinsky and Tbilissky Districts crossed by the CPC pipeline system.
Tens of various social projects and programs were implemented in 8 districts of the region that are crossed by the main pipeline and host CPC sites and in Novorossiysk from 1999 thru 2020. The amount of charitable investments allocated by the consortium to the Krasnodar Krai amounted to more than 2 billion 300 million rubles.
The amount of funds allocated by CPC to charity projects in the Krasnodar Krai (excluding Novorossiysk) will exceed 85 million rubles in 2020.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three single-point moorings (SPM) that enable safe tanker loading operations at significant distance offshore including loading in adverse weather conditions.
