The state-of-the-art lung ventilation units, Lufter 5, for the purchase of which CPC allocated almost RUR 18 mln, are intended for respiratory support in the resuscitation and intensive care units and can be used for both adult patients and children. In addition to respiratory support, the unit monitors graphically in the real-time mode a patient’s respiratory parameters and CO2 and oxygenation. Given the sensitive epidemiological situation existing in many Russian regions, the lung ventilation units are a timely additional contribution to fighting COVID-19 in the Republic.
On the same day, lighting and sound amplification equipment for the open-air show stage in the Pobedy square in the Druzhba park of Elista was handed over. The value of this charity project also amounted to about RUR 18 mln. The Druzhba park is the largest recreation zone of the Republic capital. Acquisition of the advanced equipment will help to conduct cultural and mass events, concerts of various genres of city, Republican and Federal significance with involvement of local on-stage performance groups and known Russian and foreign performers.
CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Republic of Kalmykia Chairman of The Government Yuri Zaitsev, as well as Head of Elista Dmitry Trapeznikov also visited the construction site of a skatedrome in the Pobeda park in microdistrict 7 of Elista. Thanks to this project funded by Caspian Pipeline Consortium a specialized sports ground for rollers, skateboards and bicycles will very soon appear in the Republic capital. Specialized places for young people training are an important attribute of today’s city and necessary and sought-after component of a comfortable urban environment. The construction of the skate part costs almost RUR 12 mln.
It should be noted that CPC has allocated over RUR 100 mln in total in 2020 to implementation of charity projects in the Republic of Kalmykia.
