On 11 November 2020 in Stavropol, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Stavropol Krai Deputy Head Ivan Kovalev, Stavropol Krai Minister of Industry Vitaly Shulzhenko and other officials handed over five lung ventilation units, Lufter 5, to Municipal Clinical Hospital No.2.
The state-of-the-art lung ventilation units, Lufter 5, for the total value of almost RUR 15 mln, are intended for patients of any age for respiratory support. In addition, the unit monitors graphically in the real-time mode a patient’s respiratory parameters and CO2 and oxygenation.
On the same day, diagnostic medical equipment used for monitoring of patients’ vital parameters was handed over to six District hospitals of Stavropol Krai: Apanasenkovsky District Hospital named after N. Palchikov, Turkmensky District Hospital, Izobilnensky DH, Ipatovsky DH, Novoaleksandrovsky DH and Trunovsky DH. The value of the delivery financed by CPC charity funds amounted to almost RUR 12 mln. The list of equipment includes emergency physician’s bedside monitors and anesthesiologist’s portable monitors, pulse oxymeters, monitors to assess depth of anaesthesia and other equipment items.
The units are intended for use during surgeries and intensive care in anesthesiology and resuscitation departments and are recommended for use in medical institutions on any level. All equipment items can be used effiently to treat patients with the coronavirus infection and are currently in high demand.
It should be added, that in 2020, CPC implements projects to support the social sphere for the total amount of over RUR 87 mln as part of charity programs in Stavropol Krai.
