Winners of the Contest “CPC to Talented Children” Will Take Part in the CPC New Year's Marathon

On December 10, 2020, the official ceremony closing the second stage of the international contest "CTC to Talented Children" took place online. On this day, the jury announced the winners and laureates of the festival in the city of Novorossiysk - the last region where the results of this contest were summed up.
In 2020, the CPC for Talented Children competition was held 21 times in all regions of CPC presence: the Republic of Kalmykia, Astrakhan Oblast, Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai, including the city of Novorossiysk. However, due to the restriction on public events, it was held in special conditions.
For reference: this year a record number of participants - 12,744 took part in the competition. The first qualifying stage, which started in January in eight nominations ("Choreography", "Classical Dance", "Pop Singing", "Folk Singing", "Classical Singing", "Folk Instruments", "Instrumental Music", "Theater") was traditionally conducted remotely. The coronavirus pandemic required strict safety precautions for teachers and competitors, so the second stage was also held remotely on the Zoom conference platform. The organizers managed to convert successfully to the online format the most important component of the festival - master classes with stars of the stage, the best vocal, music and dance teachers in the country. To maintain the interest of participants in the contest, not only its official website was widely used, but also an additional platform was quickly created on Instagram - @ktk-talant. Irrespective of sanitary restrictions, the participants of the second stage of the festival were not left without the final review of their creative work: instead of traditional gala concerts, short and extended videos with performances by young artists, interviews with participants and teachers, and ethnographic sketches were prepared and uploaded on the Internet.
According to the results of creative competitions of the second stage, 1686 participants received the title of laureates of the contest in 2020, and another 1255 were awarded with diplomas. Of these, 375 laureates and 305 diploma holders represented Astrakhan Oblast, 165 and 99 – the Republic of Kalmykia, 515 and 312 – Stavropol Krai, 400 and 350 – Krasnodar Krai, 231 and 189 - Novorossiysk.
Given the great interest in the contest this year and impossibility for objective reasons to hold the final stage for the contest winners in Moscow, the organizers decided to conduct this stage as an online event in social networks.  This event, called "CPC New Year's Marathon", will be held for the laureates from December 15, 2020 to January 15, 2021 in the @ ktk-talant group on Instagram. An additional part for all members of the @ ktk-talant group will take place on Tiktok.
