CPC Ran “Clean River Bank” Environmental Campaign

20210922-1.jpgCaspian Pipeline Consortium ran a “Clean River Bank” environmental campaign on the banks of the Ural River in Atyrau. The participants collected over 5 tons of waste and rubbish.

About 100 employees of the Consortium took part in the “Clean River Bank” campaign, which was organized to sustain local eco-balance and promote green philosophy. CPC helps Atyrau Oblast with not only social incentives and charitable programs, but also takes care of its environment. The first “Clean River Bank” campaign was held in 2020 with 20 tons of waste collected overall.

20210922-2.jpg“Yet again our objective was to collect garbage and remind everybody that we must keep our planet clean. I think that our campaign helps to increase awareness of the importance of environment protection and engage more people into it. The campaign was a success as we collected more waste than last year,” CPC Regional Manager Mukhit Mazhenov said.

227 garbage bags were collected and transported by CPC employees to a local waste landfill in Atyrau. The campaign was supported by Caspian news TV channel reporters.

20210922-3.jpg“We hope that our cooperative efforts with CPC will be an example for the local community and motivate people to improve the river ecosystem, increase awareness of the environmental problem so that people treat with good care our natural resources and live in harmony with nature,” Caspian news reporter Nurbibi Temirtasova said.

Every year CPC initiates various actions to preserve and improve the environment. Environmental protection is one of the key priorities of Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
