| In view of the recent mass media publications regarding tax claims to CPC-R, the Consortium management would like to state that the Company has always pursued, and continues to pursue, the policy of strict compliance with the Russian tax laws.
The issues which emerge from time to time and which cannot be settled with the authorities of the Russia’s Federal Tax Service within the framework of mutual consultations, are referred to courts.
In view of the foregoing, and considering that the ultimate decision is the court’s prerogative, the CPC management does not consider possible to comment publicly on the merits of the above matters.
The Consortium has everything necessary to fully perform its obligations and continues to operate normally.
