CPC Marine Terminal Resumed Oil Lifting |  | |

The oil lifting operations were suspended in the evening on November 10th after the storm warning came in. A severe (6-7 points) storm has been raging for 3 days. It was the first storm of such magnitude since Marine Terminal was put in service, but the competent and prompt steps taken by the Marine Terminal staff allowed for preventing serious damage to the equipment and resuming the normal lifting operations immediately after the storm has gone.
