Regional Stage of the CPC to Talented Children 2019 Festival Completed in Novorossiysk

20191001-1.jpg20191001-2.jpgA gala concert and an awarding ceremony of the second (regional) stage of the CPC to Talented Children 2019 festival was held on 30 September in the Novorossiysk City Theater. The formal ceremony was attended by Igor Storozhenko, General Manager, Public and Authorities Relations, CPC-R, Svetlana Kalinina, First deputy mayor of the Hero City Novorossiysk, young participants of the contest and their teachers.

– CPC has been making an immense contribution to support of social initiatives, strengthening the city’s technical and material infrastructure, providing support to the community’s education, healthcare, fitness and sports, social sector. It is by now a good tradition for the CPC to fund cultural projects, provide support to talented children and the youth, Svetlana Kalinina stated at the opening of the gala concert.

The previous day winners of the first (absentee) stage together with their mentors took part in master classes organized by famous artists, laureates of various international competitions. The master classes were given by Leonid Lundstrem, Docent of the Alfred Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music; Maria Voskresenksaya, Piano Teacher at the M.M. Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music Pedagogical Institute; Nina Amelina, Teacher at the Moscow School of New Cinema; Natalya Krivopust, Music Director of the Folklore Studio at the Russian Song - Moscow State Music Theater of Folklore headed by Nadezhda Babkina, People’s Artist of Russia.

In total, almost 780 young talented people from 10 settlements of the Novorossiysk Municipality participated in the CPC to Talented Children 2019 festival. 500 videos were submitted to the judges of the contest.

The winners and runners-up of the contest selected by the judges received the most prized certificates for a trip to Moscow, where the third and final stage of the festival - the Uniting Cultural Forum - will take place on 26-30 October 2019. There the participants from Krasnodar Krai will be joined by winners and runners-up of the CPC to Talented Children festival from other Russian regions and from Kazakhstan, where this competition is held for the first time this year. In total, about 12 thousand people took part in the contest this year.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
