On 21 May 2015 there was a formal opening ceremony of a new sports ground in the Yenotayevka village, Yenotayevka district, Astrakhan region. Caspian Pipeline Consortium has invested more than RUR 5 mln into the sports ground owned by the General Education School of Yenotayevka village. Moreover, the CPC representatives presented the gates and a complete set of soccer balls to young soccer players.
A symbolic red ribbon at the school stadium was cut by Sergey Krzhanovsky, Deputy Chairman of Astrakhan Regional Government, Mikhail Kolesnikov, Manager, Regulatory Affairs, CJSC CPC-R, and Sergey Mikheyev, Head of the Yenotayevka District Municipal Entity.
CJSC CPC-R has long-standing partnership relations with the Yenotayevka district schoolchildren. In 2012 the overhaul of this educational institution was finalized at the company’s expense. The company spent more than RUR 32 mln to replace the roof, windows, doors and heating system of the school. Last summer saw the construction of modular boiler system for the district’s educational institutions. The consortium spent more than RUR 10 mln to fight the cold. And now the schoolchildren of the district will have the ground where they will pass their GTO physical culture qualifying tests or simply play soccer.
