CPC emphasis health, safety and environment in all spheres of its activities, has extensive social commitments to CPC staff, provides decent remuneration for contractors, finances the development of urban and rural infrastructure along the pipeline route, organizes numerous educational, sport and cultural events for communities and grants financial aid to vulnerable social groups.
CPC has a lot of social programs for its employees and their families assuring professional development, proper rest, physical fitness as well as high-quality medical care.
CPC also provides social and financial support to the disabled, war veterans, orphans and other vulnerable groups in communities in which it operates. Targeted approach, transparency and rigid control are the main criteria for implementation of CPC social programs in Russia and Kazakhstan with the focus on the following:
- Medical care
- Aid to orphans
- Support to veterans, handicapped and low-income residents
- Utilities and municipal transport
In 1998-2013, CPC spent more than RUR1,5 bln in Russia and more than KZT2 bln in Kazakhstan on social programs.
The Expansion Project triggered new investments in construction of social assets nearby CPC Marine Terminal and in the areas of construction and upgrade of pump stations. CPC will spend on these objectives more than RUR1 bln in Russia and KZT3 bln in Kazakhstan.
