Certificates

Environmental protection and industrial safety matters are of priority for CPC. Changes in HSE legislation are monitored on a quarterly basis and compliance of CPC operations with the established requirements is evaluated. Key indicators of all operations that can have a potential environmental impact are continuously monitored. Practical drills and exercises are held on a regular basis for CPC personnel and management with the view of adequate responding to contingency situations during facilities operation.

The system complies with all requirements of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan laws. Its structure enables implementation of the latest international achievements in the HSE area.

In 2010, the CPC HSE management system that covers all kinds of operations in all CPC units in Kazakhstan and Russia was certified as per BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.

Previously, in 2009, CPC successfully passed a certification audit of its environment management system as per ISO 14001:2004 international environment standard and received a respective certificate.

In 2012, Caspian Pipeline Consortium passed certification of its quality management system for compliance with requirements of ISO 9001:2008 international standard. An obtained Certificate means international acknowledgement of Caspian Pipeline Consortium as a company whose quality management, as well as personnel qualification and competence, production infrastructure, and applied processes are at the top level. The above standard is the third key international standard with which CPC operations comply.
