Caspian Pipeline Consortium completed 2016 with high rates: in December at the CPC marine terminal near Novorossiysk were shipped 4,517,286 tons of oil – it is an absolute record of monthly shipment in the Company's history.
In total last year Consortium shipped 44,280,972 tons of oil at the worldwide markets, that is 1,538,197 tons more than in 2015.
Altogether, in the past year at the CPC marine terminal were shipped 435 oil tankers – 26 more than in 2015.
Such a high indices of main CPC activity became possible resulting from the realized project of expansion of the CPC’s pipeline system Tengiz – Novorossiysk capacity.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC terminal is equipped with three-point moorings (SPM), which enable to load tankers safely at a considerable distance from the coast and in adverse weather conditions.
