Construction of the Fourth Medical Institution Starts Near Novorossiysk

IMG_20230811_105439.jpgOn August 11, 2023, a stone was laid in the village of Glebovskoye, Novorossiysk Municipality, symbolizing the start of construction of a general practitioner's office (GPO). The ceremony was attended by Alexey Pelipenko, Regional Manager, CPC-R Marine Terminal, Valentina Ignatenko, Deputy Minister of Krasnodar Krai Health Care, Natalya Mayorova, Deputy Head of Novorossiysk City Municipality.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated approximately 35.4 million rubles towards design and construction of a GPO building of 286 sq. m. Almost 10 million rubles more will be allocated by CPC for procurement of state-of-the-art equipment, including ultrasonic unit. The design provides for two separate entrances for adults and children, general practitioner’s offices, pediatrician, procedure room, inoculation physiotherapy rooms, temporary room (small in-patient facility) and other auxiliary rooms.

The new GPO, along with the paramedic stations in Vasilievka and Severnaya Ozereyevka villages, as well as the GPO in Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka village, will be part of the Novorossiysk Outpatient Clinic No. 1, a state-funded health care institution of the Krasnodar Krai Ministry of Health Care, and will improve the accessibility and quality of primary health care for the population. It was pointed out at the ceremony that, taking into account the geographical location (Glebovskoye is neighboring with three other villages) and the rapid increase in the number of residents, about four thousand children and adults will be able to use medical services here.IMG_20230811_111734.jpg

As a reminder: In early summer 2023, three primary health care medical stations were opened simultaneously in Novorossiysk, these stations being construction and equipped using the international Consortium’s charity funds.

For many years, CPC has been supporting the health care sphere in Novorossiysk as in other host regions. Specifically, using the Company’s charity funds, City Polyclinic #2 was reconstructed in Novorossiysk, City Hospital No.1, Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 3, Children's City Hospital, Perinatal Center, Clinical and Diagnostic Center, and other medical institutions in Novorossiysk were furnished with modern medical equipment (surgical, anesthesia, resuscitation, diagnostic, etc.). During the COVID-19 pandemic, CPC rendered aid to Infectious Diseases Hospital No.3 by providing lung ventilators. Since 2015, the Consortium has allocated over 300 million rubles towards the city health care.
