About the situation at CPC facilities under flood conditions in Kazakhstan

Due to the flood situation in Kazakhstan, CPC continuously monitors its production facilities. A special Headquarters has been established in the Eastern Region of the Consortium. All facilities and equipment, including 24 main ball valves (MBV) as of the morning of April 8, 2024 are in the safe zone.
Under special attention are ball valves at KP 209 of the pipeline - between the Ural River and highway near Atyrau PS. Earth mounds have been erected around these MBV.
Condition of service roads is continuously monitored. Surge water from the Caspian Sea is observed at KP72 of the oil pipeline at the same time there is currently no threat to the Consortium’s communications; the service road section is stabilized with reinforced concrete slabs.
All four CPC pump stations (Tengiz, Atyrau, Kurmangazy, Isatai) are out of the flood zone. Additional stocks of drinking water, food and fuel have been formed at the facilities. Personnel is delivered in accordance with the schedule.
