The second
2024 May issue of corporate CPC Panorama is out. This spring, CPC has lifted
the 900 millionth ton of oil since inception, has provided support to the
National Project “Education”, has been ranked 11 among major taxpayers in
Russia by the Federal Tax Service, and has acquired a full membership in the
International Association of Oil Transporters.
A report from
the main construction sites of the Debottlenecking Program, such as the Marine
Terminal and Astrakhan PS, gives insights into a direct relation between
dismantling decommissioned facilities and follow-on construction and
installation works. The report, along with some other materials, is accompanied
with a footage from the site, which can be played by scanning a linked QR code
in the magazine.
The May issue
covers such events as an operational performance meeting between CPC Division
Heads, a field seminar of the Corporate Security Division with a visit to a new
learning and training center, meetings with environmental activists in
Novorossiysk and constructive discussions about topical issues on the
environmental agenda and potential operation of recovery units at the CPC
Marine Terminal, etc.
Cooperation
between CPC and the Gubkin Oil & Gas University provides CPC Panorama
correspondents with scientific insights into the most recent developments and
trends in the oil and gas industry. In the May issue, N. Golunov, Prorector of
the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, describes various uses of
drag-reducing agents.
CPC employees
exhibit a remarkable breadth of knowledge and active personal stand. The issue
discusses how colleagues get Internal Trainers training and achieve new records
in sports, assesses the energy industry component of the Russia International
Exhibition and Forum, where for its participation CPC received a letter of
acknowledgment from the RF Government.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major
investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in the CIS. The
length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports
over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil
fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped
with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a
significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
