4.jpgAs part of the “CPC to First-Graders” charity program, more than 10,500 future schoolchildren in Astrakhan Oblast, the Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol Krai and Kuban received a gift of light and comfortable backpacks with a set of school supplies for September 1.
Backpacks that weigh 520 g meet the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, enabling schoolchildren to carry everything they need without damaging their back posture. There is an organizer inside and pockets on the outside for an umbrella and a water bottle. A reflective key fob increases the safety of movement in conditions of poor visibility. S-shaped straps and an orthopedic ventilated backrest ensure a comfortable fit.
First-graders' backpacks are furnished with 43 items, including a convenient frame pencil case with a zipper, notebooks, pencils, erasers, pens, markers, paints, scissors, brushes, paper and cardboard sets. A complete school kit is of particular value for rural schools, where the assortment of stationery stores is second to district centers. All items have safety certificates and comply with sanitary norms of the Russian Federation and recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
In Astrakhan Oblast, 2,003 first-grade schoolchildren from Yenotaevsky, Krasnoyarsky, Limansky, Narimanovsky and Kharabalinsky Districts received gifts from CPC. In the Republic of Kalmykia, 2,046 backpacks with school kits were granted to little residents of Elista, and to children from Iki-Burulsky and Chernozemelny Districts. First-graders from Apanasenkovsky, Izobilnensky, Ipatovsky, Novoaleksandrovsky, Trunovsky and Turkmensky Districts of Stavropol Krai received 1,930 gifts from CPC. In Krasnodar Krai, 3,000 first-graders from Obinsky, Dinksy, Kavkazsky, Korenovsky, Krasnoarmeysk, Kramsky, Tbilissky and Ust-Labinsky Districts were prepared for school in the same way. The “CPC to First-Graders” charity program has been implemented on a permanent basis in the host regions since 2011. The school gear from the Consortium, on the one hand, helps children to feel more comfortable in the new conditions of starting school life, on the other hand - serves as a timely support to parents in their family budgeting.
Support for socially significant areas of society life and humanitarian development of the regions crossed by the CPC pipeline is among the most important Company's priorities. Education, health care, culture and children's sports are priority areas. In addition to “CPC to First-Graders”, “New Year and Christmas Holidays together with CPC”, “CPC to Talented Children” festival-contest and “Protect Nature in Our Native Land” awareness project are among the traditional charity programs.
