On 6 May
2024, a symbolic stone was laid in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka near Novorossiysk for the
start of construction of a cultural and aesthetic center for children and
youth. CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban, Dmitry Kompaniets, First Deputy
Minister of Culture of Krasnodar Krai, Andrey Kravchenko, Head of the Hero-City
of Novorossiysk Municipality, participated in the ceremony.
CPC allocated
about 400 million rubles towards implementation of the project to construct a
three-story building of the Center with an area of over 4,000 sq. m. The
facility will be erected using the latest construction technologies. The first
floor will house a checkroom, an assembly hall for 200 seats, a gym, a
wrestling hall, a coaching room, sports locker rooms and other auxiliary rooms.
On the second floor, the design provides rooms for music classes, a museum, a
reading room, a reception room, offices of the director and artistic director,
and a theater studio and a locker room block. The third floor is dedicated to
studios for design, fine arts, early creative development, arts and crafts, photography
studio, vocal and dance rooms. The Center plans to open its doors in 2025.
An
information board will be installed on the facade of the building to show the
current indicators of the atmospheric air condition in the operational area of
CPC Marine Terminal. These ecological data are currently published on a regular
